Hand to hand:
1|Requiem ( An upper cut that lifts the person into the air followed by a full powered straight right into the sternum of the opponent )
2|Lock'n'load ( Ryu tightens every muscle in his arm, back and neck, and throws a punch with 100% of his muscles strength )
3|Bear hug ( Ryu grabs his opponent and squeezes him, though it can hurt the person, it doesn't cause any serious damage, its more of a submission hold )
4|Deal breaker ( Ryu jumps at his opponent, grabs the back of his head in both hands, and knees them in the face while bringing their head to his knee )
5|Horizon's end ( Ryu runs at his opponent with his arm pulled back and when he is almost right next to his opponents, he hurls his fist forward. the force of the punch coupled with his running speed causes heavy damage )

Equipment: Old traditional Sake Gourd (think Gaara from naruto, but smaller... a lot smaller... with sake not sand)) tied to a belt at his waist. Gloves that are fingerless with Metal plates shaped like a skull on the back of the hand, the teeth bend over the knuckles for added protection and damage.

Appearance: Short ruffled black hair And bright yellow eyes, Ryu is covered in scars from head to toe, his most prominent being a large scar that extends from his upper right shoulder all the way down to his left side and an oddly jagged scar that starts at his left temple and goes over his eye, and down across the edge of his mouth splitting his lip and ending under his chin, he wears a white trench coat that almost touches the ground, he wears a pair of gloves with a steel plate shaped like a skull and the teeth of the skull go down to cover Ryu's knuckles, with thin wrappings underneath. He has a pair of Leather boot with a metal plate on the inside, as well as the outside of the toes and heels. He wears a pair of black pants that have many pockets, though most are empty. He wears a tattered gray sleeveless shirt under his coat, and a pair of dog tags with the name Igi Kenichi. In his left ear he has 2 piercings, one on the upper part, and one in his ear lobe, both connected by a small chain of silver.

Personality: Though he has a temper, it takes a bit to actually anger Ryu, however once provoked it is impossibly difficult to calm him down. Ryu is normally a shy person, who doesnt stand out in a crowd, except for his appearance... When he's angry, he seems like a completely different person, the way he talks, and acts are all 180 turnarounds from his normal shy self. He hates people who bully the weak, but at the same time, he hates people who are too weak to stand up for themselves. Drinks sake from his gourd to loosen up when hes tense.

History: When Ryu was younger his best friend in the whole world was a stray dog since he was bullied in school. One day on the playground when he was 10, some of the older kids from the same school came over to him and the dog who Ryu had been feeding scraps from lunch and playing with. The oldest of the group Kyle, told his friends to grab Ryu and the dog, 2 held down Ryu, and 3 including Kyle held down the dog. Kyle reached into his pocket and pulled out a small knife, claiming it was his brothers. He then took the knife, and did the unthinkable, and killed Ryu's companion, laughing as the dog yelped in pain. Turning to Ryu holding the bloody knife, he let out a quick remark before grabbing Ryu's forehead and holding it in place "You're a loser! Nobody will EVER like you and im gonna give you a nice little present to ensure that!" Kyle began laughing as he began making a large jagged cut that began from just in front of Ryu's left temple, down over the left eye and mouth, finally making his way toward the chin. At that point Ryu had stopped crying and fought back with all of his strength, throwing the boy holding down his right side off of him and punching Kyle in the jaw with all of his might. Kyle jaw shattered as he fell back onto the soft ground, spitting up teeth and blood. To Kyle and the other 4 boys, Ryu looked as though he had been possessed by a demon, standing there covered in blood from head to toe, his eyes seemed as though they led to the depths of hell, but that terror only lasted for minutes as Ryu severely beat the other 4 boys, shattering many of their bones and crippling one for life. kyle was not so lucky however, as he watched his friends be beaten by someone who was so much younger and smaller then them, Ryu turned to Kyle, now standing Directly in front of Kyle, though his face was facing forward as if looking into the distance, his eyes peered down at the boy who had stolen the life of his most precious friend and said to him calmly but with a fervored anger in his voice, "Don't think you can get away with what you've just done Kyle... NEITHER ME NOR THE DEVIL WILL FORGIVE YOU!!!". As the teachers rushed to the playground to stop the fight, they saw a small bloodied boy crying while holding the corpse of the dog, 3 children were moaning in pain, one unconscious, as the teacher went to check on the 5th and final boy, she let out a scream. Kyle, who had killed Ryu's best friend in the world, had been beaten so badly that he died. Ryu was sentenced to 8 years in a juvenile detention facility where he met another boy, who was 16 years old, his name was Igi. over the next 2 years, Igi became Ryu's friend, teaching him some martial arts and hand to hand combat. Igi always got into trouble, he'd start fights in the lunch room and get sent outside to clean the yard. The day Igi was transferred out of juvenile hall and into an adult prison, he left Ryu 2 items... a Small gourd with the words, "Death is not the end" Written around the base in Kanji symbols. (Go here http://www.kanjidic.com/ to see the symbols) When Ryu was let out from Juvenile hall, he had nowhere to go, his parents had moved away and abandoned him, the people of the city shunned him due to his appearance, and some knew him for the crimes he had committed. For the next year, he traveled around looking for some place he could feel at home at, when he heard of the hunter organization. Though he was unaware of whether they would allow him to join or not, he decided to head to their headquarters to find out as much information as he could.

Does he have any specific styles?

hes a street fighter type, anything goes, though he mainly learned boxing, he knows a few martial arts as well as kick boxing

i almost cried writing my history... =( i didnt want to do it... the voices in my head said itd make for a good history though...

oopsie, i forgot to change that, i was originally going to make something for non combat, but i gave up cause i didnt know of anything besides pickpocketing but this character isnt a thief...

but like, what do you mean no style though?

he means that normally people follow a certain style, like fencing, or boxing, or tai kwon do or what have you
so he's wondering what sword style you use, you could find one that exists, or you could make up your own, but it should have a defining trait like strong strikes, combos, hit and run tactics or w/e you want.

well he meant you didnt have any specific non combat talent, so think of one, it could be anything from entertainment to pick pocketing to driving cars

he mastered brawling

street fighting, hes mainly taken up boxing and Muay thai... but he knows enough about several differant types of martial arts and fighting since he was in a juvenile detention facility and learned from several people, and had his fair share of fights inside.

i added Quick reflexes to one of his best physical attribues, since as a hand to hand guy its be troublesome if i couldnt get close to anyone, if its too much say so
