The man rushed at Ryu and struck at him while he was beating on the child.

((no it wont, this is the hunter exams, Hanzo snapped gon's arm like a twig in the finals, and he was a good guy, even if he had killed gon, he would have been allowed to come back next year. you sign a waver thing, people die in the exams all the time, let alone break a few bones...))

Ryu looked up at Ken and shouted to him, "KEN! ILL DEAL WITH THE BRAT, YOU DEAL WITH THE BIG GUY!" hoping that Ken was fast enough to respond to the situation to stop the man from reaching him.

Sean was a bit stunned at ryu hurting the child, then he snapped out of it. Sean ran up to the man attacking ryu and jumped for a flying kick to the face.

((oi oi, i wasnt gunna hurt her at first, she sliced my cheek open, that hurts ))

"Yep, pretty much. I didn't even answer the question though. I got it without too much trouble. I guess it does at time pay to be against fighting. At least you got one. I'm sure there are tons of people who don't or won't get one."

The man didn't notice the attack because he was trying to kill Ryu. He chipped his tooth and was dazed.

Sean then turned his body and roundhouse kicked the man.

The man was hit again. It seemed that he had no fighting potential. None at all.

Ryu turned to the girl and told her one more time, "Give us the badge and I'll let you go, i dont want to hurt a little girl if i dont have to." Ryu tightened his grip on her arm, and began applying a small amount of force so her decision would be easier to make.

"NONONONONONO!" the girl screamed while kicking and thrashing.

Sean walked in front of the girl and bent so he was eye level. In in a nice voice he asked "Will you please give me a badge?"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" The girl screamed.

Ryu was tired of hearing her scream, so he slowly stood up and used his unused hand to cup in front of her mouth, muffling her screams, "just check her pockets... if we dont find one, we can just check her clothes inside out..." Ryu said with a devilish smirk on his face, hoping that would calm her down and make her tell them where the badge was, if she had one.

"MRPHHHFRGHH!" the girl screamed. Her pockets were emptied and there was a badge on the ground.
