Second round of Hunter exams

Its that time again, all the registered applicants are showing up at the starting line from around the world. Some look around the place sizing up the competition, others stand strong ready for any challenge. There is an electricity in the air unlike any other before it as the anticipation, tension and excitement all reach there highest level. As the massive crowd gathered in the dank green jungle proctors, all pro hunters themselves, watch from a small stage in the center of the clearing with their backs to the dense population of trees "how many are here this time" asked one of them "about thirty five thousand" replied another, soon it would all start again, the exams!

((if you want to take the exam have your char show up, Kaiser will be overseeing this one))

Ryu had already signed up for the exam, so he decided to walk over to the nearest wall, rest his back to it, and sit down, its gunna be a pretty long day, ill just sit here and wait for the start, i wonder what kind of exam this is, there sure are a lot of people Ryu glanced around to the crowd surrounding the center stage, there sure are a lot of people here... im kinda nervous, i need to calm down a little bit thought Ryu, as he was pulling a small gourd off of a belt he had tied around his waste, he took a swig, and loosened up a bit.

(Light(vexthewolf) should make a character today. if possible let him in the exam. he is sitting right next to me.)

Karo was looking around the area. He was anxious to begin. He had already signed in and was anxiously awaiting his friend to show up. come on, hurry up. I don't want you to miss this! Man! I'm getting hungry, good thing I brought some food. He pulled out 10 hot dogs and ate them all in a couple of seconds. "Okay, now I'm ready!"

((although Kaiser is overseeing this one I can say that if he shows up and makes a character before or at the same time, or a little after keymaster he can get on here before the exam starts we have a minimum of three player characters but no maximim))

"Hello and welcome everybody to the hunter exams!" A woman with a gleeming smile proclaimed. The crowd was filled with energy, and everything seemed great.

((remember you need one other player character to proceed and two may be entering))

((now if i fail this exam, i take the next one right?))

((Yes you do, but I am not to harsh, unless you are being just stupid.))

(( i love the idea of hunter exams, i might fail this one on purpose towards the end =P besides, you cant have newbies passing it ike its nothing all the time ))

((I know, but if they play it right, anyone can get through, it's about weeding through the best of the best.))

Running as fast as she could to the registration desk and entered her name in. Kinta was finally in the exams. She looked around for any one she knew and found Karo. She ran over to him giving him a big hug.

Ryu looked around and notice 2 people hugging, It must be nice having people to care for you... i cant remember the last time someones embraced me... Ryu began to remember things he hadnt thought of in a long time, and immediatly started gulping down the hard liquer inside the gourd.

"We will only accept 300 applicants and they need badges some of the staff have badges, and you are s'posed to take them" The proctor said into the mike

Ryu began looking around, checking to see if any people were wearing the same types of clothing, trying to find any uniformity in an attempt to locate staff members. Crap... I'm no good at stealing... and i dont know how theyd react if i fought someone to take the badge... guess ill just have to ask for it if i see someone...

"Hey Kinta! You made it. Let's look for a badge, come on!" Karo took her hand and got her to come with him. They toegther trying to find someone to get the badge. "Hey, I think I found one."

Ryu thought to himself, Crap... i cant find anyone who might have a badge... !!! i know, ill ask the proctor... i doubt he'll tell me but its better than doing nothing Ryu walked over to the proctor and politely asked him, "So what do these badges look like, and exactly how are we supposed to know who has them?"

"That's the challenge, boy." the proctor, who was an old man, said.

Ryu looking at the old man asked again, "Cmon, cant you at least give me a hint, theres gotta be at least 10 thousand people here... isnt there anything you can tell us?"
