Second round of Hunter exams

Sean took his hand off the man's shoulder and put out his pinky. "I promise. Pinky, too."

The man was clearly starved, and even though he was laughing his condition was bleak. Before he could put up his pinky, he fell asleep, from hunger.

Sean got down an the ground a second after. He began to shake the body. "You okay? Sir?" Sean was worried. "Please wake up! Please!"

The man was unconscious. He couldn't get up, and probably would be dead soon.

When Sean knew the man wasn't going to get up, he began to cry. Then he sat up, his eyes still full of tears, took a deep breath, and stood up. "I'll pass. For you, the one who died trying." Then he looked around. "Where's the proctor?"

The proctor was drunk on the floor, he was clutching something two. It was obviously valuable because he was outcold, but still grabbing at it.

Sean walked over to the drunk proctor and picked up the object. He looked at it all around. "What's this?"

"Let's do something other than fighting. How about a thinking contest? Let's ask a series of questions and then see who gets the most right, but we need someone else to do it."

(*signals admins*)

The man laughed and said, "Now why would I do that?"

"Because you ain't that sticker without beating me at something and I refuse to fight. So either you go somewhere and forfeit that thing or you beat me at a game of the mind.

The man was confused and didn't know what to say. He saw an oppurtunity to embarass the kid and said, "What contest do you want to have?"

"Okay, will we get someone to ask three questions, neither of us can know the person, who ever answers the most wins. If we answer the same then we keep going until someone gets it wrong."

The man with the badge laughed, "Answer this question, and whoever gets it right will get the badge. Who is the evil magiscientist who is near immortal?"

((hey allistar, is what keymaster took off the proctor a badge? cause since i was standing right next to him i should know at the very least))

Ryu looked at the person who had just taken an item from the proctor, "uh... um... i dont think you should do that... he kinda passed out and it wouldnt be very nice to take something from him like that..."

((No but i will scribe what it means))
The object was a gold crest on a red ribbon. It meant something very important, but it couldn't be translated.

((keymaster, not sure if you read my character sheat but my guy is a shy/timid 6'6" tall man who looks like a member of a mafia syndicate ie. big freakin scar on his face))

Ryu caught a glimpse of it, and told the person, "yea thats not a badge... you shouldnt take it from him... this is" Ryu pulled his badge out of his coat pocket and showed the man a small white circular badge with the number 37 on it.

((Those kind of characters are my favorites!))
Sean put down the object, still confused about what it was, and went over to the drunk proctor yet again. This time taking the badge off of him. Sean put out his hand towards the timid man for a handshake. "I'm sean. What's your name?"

((i dont know if keiser is gunna let you just pick a badge up without anything happening))

Ryu pulled back a little bit, but when he realized that Sean meant no harm to him, he extended his hand and shook his hand, "My names Ryu... it's nice to meet you"

Sean gave ryu a big smile. "Hello, ryu. Why do you want to be a hunter?"

Ryu was somewhat confused at the question he was just ask, and his face showed it, "I-i... i guess you could say so i could be strong enough to protect people i care about... even though i dont really have any friends..." Ryu pulled the gourd from his belt and took a big gulp of the alcohol inside.

Sean smiled again. "I could be your friend, ryu. We could both get stronger and help people, making more friends."

Ryu looked up at Sean, and slowly asked him, "Aren't you afraid of me? most people i meet are so afraid of the way i look that they stay away from me..."

((part of me wishes i didnt make him shy lol, maybe ill have him get over his shyness! YAY FRIENDSHIP!!!))

Sean shook his head. "I'm not afraid of you. You seem like a nice person."
((getting over it...that gets rid of the coolness. It's a good contrast, scary mafia look but really shy. it makes for a good character.))

((then i guess ill just make him stay shy around strangers, no reason to be so around friends though))

Ryu smiled and looked at sean with renewed vigor, "Alright, well then in that case lets pass the hunter exam together"
