at... an amateur boxing tournament... inside a boxing ring, you said you were a boxer right?

Sure, that sounds like fun. You make the first move.

Stepping into the ring, Ryu looks up at the lights of the stadium, i could really use this orize money... i havent eaten in 3 days... Slowly Ryu brings his face forward and looks across the mat to the opposite corner, and to his surprise, he sees a small child. Ryu staress at the young boy and slowly walks to the center of the ring, Hey hey... you cant be serious? you want me to fight a little kid?! Hes not even in any weight class! Theres no WAY i can hit a kid this small... From outside the ring Ryu hears a *DING!* sound, and the referee yells out, "BOX!" Ryu starts off with a solid cross arm block, to see what the kid's got.

((you gotta be freakin kiddin me lol i didnt even read your character sheet till i went to find out how big you were, you gotta start the fight off, my guy wouldnt hit a kid first, not even for money))

"Sorry mister, but I'm pro." Kai said while running. He got up to Ryu and used his technique Splash LEft. He started off strong, and was prepared for a great battle.

((is the splash left the hook or the straight? try to describe your moves a little... i cant go between your character sheet every time you use a special))

Ryu, taken off guard by the forcefulness of the small boy in front of him, was hit square in the gut, with a follow up left hook to the jaw. Staggering back, Ryu stands straight up, spits a little bit of blood out of his mouth and begins to show a completely new "aura" about him, going from the normally shy and conservative personality, to a more outgoing and angry personality, "YOU LITTLE S.O.B.! IM GONNA BEAT THE CRAP OUTTA YOU!" Ryu puts his left hand in front of him, making a half peek-a-boo style block, while taking his right arm back in preparation for a Right straight. Ryu runs at Kai and lowers his body and his fist, in an attempt to cause an uppercut to ram into kai's face and lift him backwards and up with the momentum.

Kai bobbed out of the way easily and smiled. "Wow, you really are a boxer?" he taunted. He then responded with hooks from both sides, and then his right hook changed into an upper cup. Kai was happy, because the crowd was already excited. Kaiser was actually shocked about how quickly they got excited, and how quick Ryu lost his temper.

Ryu put up a tight guard, and started inching his way closer to Kai, Tch, im gettin messed with by some little kid, calm down, calm down, its my fault i got hit, this is a boxing tournament after all... Ryu was hit by a hook as he was making his way closer to Kai, and he blocked another hook and an uppercut, I'll admit, this kids got some power, but this is nothing compared to some of the guys i had to fight back in the day As soon as Ryu was about 2 feet from Kai, he switched to southpaw and threw a left hook towards the left side of kai's ribs. He was anticipating Kai to attempt to dodge, and in case he did, he was ready with a right jab.

((if you're gunna dodge, can you explain how you dodge, to what side, do you duck when you dodge, blah blah, i know im being a little demanding, but itd help me out picturing the fight, itd also make it cooler to read too ^^))

Kai jumped back to the edge of the ring, avoiding the two punches. He then ((WRESTLING STYLE)) springed back with two straights, a right to the head, and a left to the solarplexis, and smiled. "I'm very resourceful." He was prepared for another strike by Ryu and so was ready to move away.

(( Do you know much about boxing?))

((i know a pretty good amount, mainly from the anime hajime no ippo, but a lot of the stuff in there is taken from international boxing leagues so... you're the one thats all over the place with some wierd punches, double hooks would leave you wide open, and springing from the ropes of the ring with two fists outstretched, but, this is a fight so aside from weapons and feet, anything goes))

((Normally a fight like this wouldn't go, but since Kai has the advantage, and he is small, it is easy enough for him to do it. I know alot about boxing, but it wouldn't be that fun to hear a discription of each punch, and dodge))

((i guess, gimme a minute to adjust, ill get it down,at least say which hand you're using to punch with, thatd be a great help and quit dodging everything i throw at you its a small ring you cant avoid EVERYTHING! ill get the little booger, i swears it =P))

Ryu charges forward and lowering his body rams his right shoulder into Kai hard enough to stop his punches, but not so hard to knock him down, he then takes his left fist and throws it as hard as he can into the body of Kai

Before he was hit Kai slid (by crouching, and then laying down) under Ryu's feet. He got back up and then he swung a right hook at Ryu's head. The crowd was excited, a wacky match of wild tactics broke out from a boxing match, and that was interesting.

((so i take it this is no longer a regular boxing match? fine by me, i think itd get boring if it stay only boxing, lets bust out from the norm ^^))

Ryu stuck his shoulder out in order to block the blow to his head, "So you wunna fight like that eh? boxing is too stiff and rule filled for my taste anyways..." Ryu pulled his right arm back, and began tightening the muscles in his back shoulder and neck, "TIME TO LOCK'N'LOAD!" Ryu then began to slowly walk around kai in small semicircles, closing in slowly onto him trying to back him into a corner, his left hand blocking his body and his shoulder out in front to protect his head.

"Well I don't know what to say but..." Kai said quietly, no one but Ryu could hear him say it. He smiled and laughed and then got serious. "you suck," ((Not flaming, character dialogue))

((you said you lied down, if you touch the canvas with anything other than your feet it basically resets the match))

Calm down... dont let it get to you Ryu... kids can be cruel... BUT I WUNNA BEAT HIM TILL HES DEAD! Aaahh thats no good... breeeeeath... Ryu thought to himself... his facial expressions changing from calm to enfuriated to calm again in a very odd and quick way... ((since you didnt mention you werent going into the corner, ill assume you are in the corner now))
as soon as Ryu saw Kai's back bump into the corner post, he unleashed his Punch, aiming for the center of his chest for the highest chance at hitting Kai.
